Sharon facilitates workshops, often alongside exhibitions; has undertaken many short residencies; and has managed several community arts projects. Currently a named maker within the unit 'Investigating Materials' produced by the Qualification and Curriculum Authority (QCA).

Several Universities have employed Sharon as a visiting Lecturer. She also teaches A Level Textiles part time at a Further Education College.
